It’s Time For *real* Iced Tea
It’s summer. And what better drink in the summer than iced tea? For a change this year, ditch those instant iced tea mixes and tea bags. Try making your iced tea with real loose leaf tea. Loose leaf tea, by definition, contains leaves. And leaves are where all of tea’s goodness lies. Instant iced tea mixes and tea bags typically contain crushed tea leaves or tea dust. Grinding up tea leaves makes the leaf lose a lot of its essential oils and flavors. So if you want a flavorful cup, you need the leaves.
So go ahead, brew up your next iced tea with loose leaf tea. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much better your tea will taste.
